Pacific International Virtual Airlines (PIV) announced in March 2010 the introduction of a new logo to enhance their branding and match the high standards of quality provided by Pacific International Virtual Airlines.

Established in 2000, Livewire Airlines is a company focused on virtual flights, offering thousands of flights and a wide range of aircraft to choose from.

Livewire Airlines had modest beginnings – it started its operations with a small hub in Westchester, NY.  The company has expanded over the years: today it has four divisions that operate around the world, offering international flights.

Eastern Airlines Virtual made an announcement in February 2010 about the new addition to its fleet for use on its helicopter routes – the Gmax 430 Bell Chopper (Bell 430).

Eastern Airlines Virtual owns an extensive fleet of Classic and Modern aircrafts.  Bell 430, its newest Chopper, will go along with its helicopter routes.

Eastern Airlines Virtual announced in January 2010 that it is adding Canada to their Getaway Tours.

Along with South America and the Caribbean tours, Eastern Airlines Virtual’s new addition – Canada – will offer a fun-filled virtual aviation platform to test most experienced pilot.

TAP Virtual, a virtual airline which operates under TAP Portugal's license, announced on 12 January 2010 that it is entering the second decade of its existence with some changes.

In January 2010, Lynx Airways Worldwide announced the release of their annual report of virtual airline activities.  The company’s annual report outlined how the company has continued to grow over the years.

On 10th January 2010, Canadian Xpress Virtual Airline announced that their January fly-in event will be to the former Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong.

We the KLM-VA (Virtual airline of KLM on IVAO), will be hosting a 48 hour flight from London to Melbourne re-tracking the 1934 race with a 737 and the DC2.  The MacRobertson Trophy Air Race took place October, 1934 as part of the Melbourne Centenary celebrations.

Great Lakes Express has opened their new hub in Hartford (Windsor Locks) at the Bradley International Airport. The new hub is now offering regional service to the East Coast of the United States. Bradley International will continue Great Lakes Express business plan of offering short flights to regional destinations. Bradley International joins Cleveland and Milwaukee as hubs for the regional airline.

The Simulated United States Air Force, SIM Air Force for short, is a VATSIM VSOA approved organization, flying on the VATSIM network.  SIM Air Force simulates its real world counterpart in all possible aspects, from initial flight training to flying high profile aircraft and missions.

Final planning of the Endeavour program was to be completed by no later than October 1st. Planning has been set back due to a change in launch vehicle design.

Great Lakes Express today announced they have opened the long awaited charter division. The Cleveland based airline stated that the new charter service will focus on twin engine 4-10 seat turboprops such as the Beech Duke, Cessna 441 and the Piper Seneca (among others).

Formally founded as VMAC Virtual Military Airlift Command in April, 2009 realized over the course of these many months, the name did not reflect the mission statement of the program. VMAC, never reflected a command of the US Air Force as it was representative of a multi-national air transport command.

In an announcement from Great Lakes Express virtual airlines, they state that they have expanded their operational area out to Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  Great Lakes Express VA is focused on covering lots of smaller airports and airfields rather that the bigger international airports.

Another virtual organization has opened its on-line doors.  Misty Air Charters are a web based virtual bush flying organization that cover mainly the panhandle region of Alaska.  They advertise the fact that they are friendly and welcoming and anyone may join their "clan".

In this press release from Livewire Virtual Airlines, they announce an invitation to join their virtual airline.  Livewire Virtual are one of the oldest virtual airlines on the internet, and have crossed many of the Microsoft Flight Simulator releases.

In a press release from the new Canadian Express Virtual Airlines company, they have announced their official launching.  They will be providing VATSIM capabilities for their virtual airline, enabling users to have a more realistic experience with their virtual airline.  They are also looking for staff members at the moment.

Great Lakes Express has returned to service after a short hiatus. GLE has split from Voyager and has become its own entity operating regional passenger service form Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Formerly known as Eastern Virtual Airlines, the new Eastern Airlines Virtual (EAV) is a decade old virtual airline based out of the former Eastern Airlines headquarters, Miami, Florida. It has taken us one year to reorganize and build our new site. Started on August 8, 1998 as Eastern Virtual Airlines we will be celebrating our eleventh year in two months.

After a hard search, the candidates that best described the qualifications and demands were chosen to manage Intrepid 2 on its flight into Earth Orbit. The following positions are:

(Norfolk, VA) Today marks the beginning of the UASO Intrepid-2 mission. The Titan-34D launch vehicle "stack" is set and ready to be airlifted from its birthplace, the Martin Marietta Corp, located in Denver, Colorado. The stack will be airlifted via C-5B Galaxy cargo transport to the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station where the stack will be assembled and the assembled launch vehicle will be processed and fueled for launch on Launch Complex 40.

Cubana VA is going through changes. Now couting with the super tool of LIVEDISPATCH, Cubana virtual has the base hub at the vatsim server and now opening on the new IVAO.

Just over seven years ago, the military realism flight simulation group Unity Security Force was founded by a handful of members. Populated predominantly by current and former members of real world militaries around the globe, USEC drew on the diverse background of its members to carve a unique place in the virtual aviation community.

This is a simulation of the United States Air Force Military Airlift Command.  This simulation is a continuing series of off-line virtual aviation simulations first introduced in 1997. In 2006 a series of Virtual Airline programs were introduced to provide a place where virtual pilots with limited time prevented their involvement with a heavily structured programs and programs that required it's members flights to be flown on-line with one of the interactive ATC facilities.

Premier Airways has officially opened their new hub at Kansas City International Airport. This new hub was voted into service by our pilots and your votes have been awarded with a great selection of flights. Premier Airways will utilize this new hub to service the mid-west portion of the United States.

Atlantic Northeast Virtual, originally founded in early 2003, relaunched it's web site today after the most significant series of changes in the airline's history. The web site was originally taken down on January 6th this year to allow for the major upgrade and move to a new domain.

TransOceanic Virtual Airlines, originally started in 2000, will be re-opening with it's first Hub and Headquarters, located at Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport March 1, 2009.

Premier VIRTUAL is a virtual airline with a difference. We would like to introduce you to our Airline as well as invite you to become a part of our team.  First, what is virtual airline? A virtual airline is a "virtually" established airline. There are two types of VA's, one is a real world airline based virtual airline and the other one is a non real world airline based VA, and Premier VIRTUAL is a non real world airline based VA. Virtual airlines give flight simmers the opportunity to experience what it is like working as an airline pilot, and a staff that has certain responsibilities.The difference? You don't get paid. Pegasus Simulations, Incorporated (PSI) Chairman and Board of Directors are pleased to announce the official launch of our Virtual Airline named Atlantic International Virtual (AIV). AIV plans to operate out of Boston Logan International Airport (KBOS), and will commence operations on Saturday, January 17, 2009.
