Fly Away is also now available in Spanish. The company even has that is completely in Spanish. This is the perfect place for Spanish-speaking users to learn more about the product, keep up-to-date on the latest releases and purchase the product.

For over 5 years, the access to the file library here at Fly Away Simulation has been restricted to only registered members of the website. We have now opened up access to the file library for everyone, in fact - you don't even have to register for a "free" account; you don't need to register at all.
Microsoft held a press event at their Game Studios at Redmond, Washington in December 2011, to enable members of the community and press to discuss "Flight" in detail and have any questions answered. With Fly Away Simulation being one of the attendees at the event, they have covered the event and discussed the topics raised in detail on their website.
We have recently made some big changes to the website, with more features, a new design and much improved home page. However, we would like to do more for our users so we are asking for your help in providing suggestions for elements you would like to see on the home page, or even the whole site for that matter.

Today we announce the upcoming release of our flight simulator iPhone app. Users of the iPhone will be pleased to know that the Fly Away Simulation app will be made available on the Apple app store and iTunes in the coming weeks. The app will include many features for checking the latest flight simulator news, discussion forums, latest screenshots and images and more.
Fly Away Simulation have officially launched Fly Away in Spanish language for our Spanish speaking users. We have translated all of the archived posts as well as the latest flight sim news in Spanish. You can visit the Spanish site by clicking here.
Are you a developer of Flight Simulation software? We will list your products on our store free of charge and you will be able to sell your product at a standard commission of 30% to us, 70% to developer. You will receive 70% of the final sale price.
Fly Away Simulation will be purchasing their new server at the beginning of February, and plan to get the site on their ASAP for improved and faster page load times and better use overall for our users. A server purchase is a great expense, and we thank everyone who has donated to Fly Away so far to help make this possible. Personal money is still being used to pay for the server, so we ask people to donate at their will any ammount they feel appropriate towards the server. We have just launched Fly Away Germany, or Fly Away Deutschland for our German users. The whole site is translated into German and has German forums, German downloads, German news plus much more. The language is very basic and literal at the moment because we have been using online translaters - but if you are a German speaker who would not mind correcting us, please do!
We have now opened our FS2004, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A century of flight download sections. These sections include quality addons and downloads for FS2004. We have civil aircraft to download, propeller aircraft, helicopters and historic aircraft; all for download for FS2004. Our library will be updated often, in order to deliver to you the very best FS2004 experience.

We are looking into expanding Fly Away Simulation Network worldwide. We need webmasters who will be dedicated to their job and maintain the website in their country and under their language. The overall design of the site will be modereted by Fly Away Simulation, and the site stays under the Fly Away Simulation name, but webmasters have full rights to the content of the site and is their responsability to update it regularly. For example, if we recieve a submission from French webmaster, we will set up a domain such as and that webmaster will be in charge of that.
Fly Away are now offering free web hosting to people who currently have or wish to have a flight simulator related site. Fly Away have are offering this service in order to bring the Flight Simulation community together with benifits for webmasters and Flight Simulation portals and news sites.

Fly Away have a new server! Because we have switched our server to RBFTP Networks, we can now acheive much faster browsing and downloads for our users. You will notice the difference in speed because our old server was on a 1MB connection and now we are on a 400MB connection! Because of the server transfer, you would of noticed some downtime recently; we apologise for that and it's all up and running now. We have added a photo gallery with many screenshots and real-life photographs to the site which can be viewed here and you may submit images here. We are going to be adding more downloads to the site soon. We hope you enjoy the new server and notice the difference in speed.
Fly Away are looking for people to host our downloads section. Everyone is welcome if they have their own server or have a hosting account with a hosting company. Volenteers can choose from hosting a whole section, a minimum of 10 files or the whole downloads site! If you do offer to become a downloads mirror, you may have a banner at the bottom of every page if you are a large mirror, a sidebanner if you are medium mirror, and a link on the contributers page if you are a small mirror.
