This aircraft, NC30052 'Mainliner Chicago', was converted by Douglas from a C-54B, c/n 10497, and entered service as a DC-4 with United Air Lines in 1946. Textures only, requires DC4_V21.ZIP. By Jens B. Kristensen.

  • First, make sure that the base model (DC4_V21.zip) is installed on your system.
  • Find the JBK Douglas DC-4 V2 folder on your system, and place the texture.ual folder there. (In FSX its located in \Simobjects\Airplanes, in FS2004 it's in \Aircraft).
  • If you have FSX SP2, or the Acceleration expansion pack, copy the two bitmaps included in the \FSX SP2 files folder to the texture.ddl folder, replacing the originals.
  • Then open the aircraft.cfg file and paste the following after the other, similar sections at the top of the file - replace the xx with the next number in the sequence:
