Upgraded to FSX Acceleration? Tired of the default splash screen? Try this one! Dramatic F/A-18 picture with flares and title. By John Evans.

Splash Screen for Acceleration with lens flare.

Splash Screen for Acceleration with lens flare.

This folder contains a replacement splashscreen for FSX Acceleration, if you think the default does not 'fit' with the new expansion. Simply copy the 'dlgspash' file into the 'Uires' folder, which you will find in your FSX install directory. This is usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ . I have also included the default splashscreen if you wish to revert to this. Rename it dlgspash and copy to the same folder.

NOTE: On Windows Vista, you may get up to three warnings from UAC, asking if you want to copy to this folder. Just accept all the dialogs.

Thank you for downloading my first freeware FS release. More are on the way!
