This is a repaint of Manfred Jahn's Douglas C-47.

Eighteen C-47s were in service from 1957 to 1976 in the West German Air Force. The paint represents a C-47 from Fernmelde- Lehr- und Versuchsregiment 61.
Built in 1943 (USAF serial 43-49728), it was first flown by the Royal Air Force as KK209 before serving with the Luftwaffe as a passenger and transport aircraft until 1967. The orange dayglo markings were typical of its final purpose, the testing of military air traffic control systems and radio navigation equipment. Original markings were GA+117 and GR+117

At present 14+01 is shown as static exhibit in the Deutsches Museum at Oberschleissheim near Munich. The Flugwerft Schleissheim complements the big aerospace exhibitions in the main museum in Munich.

Textures only; requires Manfred Jahn's C-47 for FSX/SP2/ACC.

This repaint was created by using the original paintkit released with the aircraft.

Installation:

1. Unzip the file.

2. Put the folder "texture.LW_14+01" in the directory SIMOBJECTS/AIRPLANES/Douglas_C-47
