This file contains alternative textures for the freeware Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and team. These textures depict an aircraft from 20 (Transport) squadron as it looked in 1949.
20 Squadron ML-KNIL was a transport unit which flew from Tjililitan in the former Dutch East Indies. First they flew converted B-25s, but soon they switched to the C-47. The squadron was also known as 'Wolff's Airlines', named after the OPS officer from headquarters who was also reponsible for the organisation of air transport. The unit was founded 1 November 1946 and discontinued on 20 June 1950.
To use these textures you should have Manfred Jahn's Douglas C-47 installed in FSX.
1. Unzip to a temporary location.
2. Copy the folders "texture.T440" to your "Douglas_C-47" sub-directory in FSX.
3. Copy and paste the following entry into the aircraft.cfg file inside the "Douglas_C-47" sub-directory (replacing the XX with the next number in line after your last existing paint scheme - if the last paint scheme already on the list is fltsim.6, this should be fltsim.7)
[fltsim.XX] <== do not forget to change the XX into the next number in squence.

I want to thank Manfred Jahn and his team for creating this beautiful model. Vincent van Yperen (Vinflyer) from the Dutch Military Aviation Museum, supplied pictures and information about the original aircraft, which made this repaint possible. For this repaint the excellent paintkit by Manfred Jahn and team was used.
It free as it is and should remain free. It didn't harm my computer(s) but the use of this repaint in entirely at your own risk.
