Posted on Tue, 28 Feb 2012 16:00:00 GMT

In March 2010, Flight Sim Design announced its release of Fort Lauderdale X for FSX.

Fort Lauderdale X offers FSX pilots high resolution ortho-image scenery of the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida, as far as Aventura and Boca Raton.

Fort Lauderdale X is one of several high quality photoreal sceneries for FSX created by Flight Sim Design. This scenery add-on was designed using full FSX capabilities. The 1 foot/pixel, high resolution photoreal scenery has no impact on frame rates.

This product is ideal for all users – whether you want to take a VFR flight on a clear day or fly over your house. The add-on also includes night textures, which enhances the simulation experience for the user.

Key features of this scenery add-on are as follows:

  • Color corrected imagery which provides a better look and feel
  • 30 cm/px (1 foot) high resolution ortho-images
  • Frame rate friendly
  • Night textures
  • Added area
  • Area stretches as south as Aventura and North as Boca Raton
  • Recent Images (2008)

Flight Sim Design also recently released Dallas/Fort Worth.
