Modlin Mazovia Airport is a military airport located 35 km north of Modlin, Poland. Built in 1937, the airport was first used in 1940 as an airbase for the German Luftwaffe in occupied Poland. Polish and Soviet air forces used the airport between 1945 and 2000. In 2000, the Polish Ministry of National Defence closed the airfield.

Building included with the scenery package.

In 2012, a decision was made to convert the disused military airfield into a passenger airport. The airport will open for passenger service for the UEFA Euro 2012, scheduled for 8 June – 1 July 2012.

Drzewiecki Design has released EPMO Warsaw Modlin X, a detailed scenery add-on of the airport, for FSX.

This product is highly accurate – Drzewiecki Design created it using hundreds of actual photographs of the airport. Drzewiecki Design was given access to take comprehensive pictures of the airport.

  • An accurate representation of the airport
  • Exceptional quality, photo realistic textures of all airport buildings
  • Top quality ground textures, including textures for several seasons
  • Custom designed charts for the airport

This scenery add-on offers great attention to detail and an accurate representation of the airport.

Although this is pay ware, there is a free demo version of the product for online and multiplayer flying.
