YOUR PERSONAL INVITATION TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY OF THE WRIGHT BROTHERS FIRST FLIGHT
You may not be able to be at Kitty Hawk to join in First Flight Centennial's planned festivities, but as a member of the flight simulator community you can participate in the occasion in a very special way that few people can. The admins and members of Fsfreeforall (FSFFA) cordially invite you to be part of the centennial celebration by joining us in a special multiplayer fly-in and parade to honor the Wright Brothers achievement.
Fsfreeforall will host a special event on Sunday, December 14, 2003 beginning at 2100 GMT. We plan to fill the skies with Wright Flyers, flying twenty-nine miles from Elizabeth City, North Carolina to First Flight Airport near Kitty Hawk. We will take-off simultaneously at 2130 GMT from Elizabeth City Coast Guard Air Station Municipal Airport (KECG), fly down the Pasquotank River and across Albemarle Sound, and land at First Flight Airport (KFFA).
This is a multifaceted event including a flight rally into Elizabeth City, the airborne parade of Wright Flyers, a simultaneous race to KFFA, and a precision landing at the KFFA airport.
We hope you will make plans to join us for this afternoon of fun and remembrance.
