I have noticed that if you engage the Airbus A321's autopilot after takeoff (at around 2500-300 ft.), the aircraft will pitch down for a few seconds before coming back up as soon as the ALT HOLD switch is engaged. This seems to happen even when I turn off the Flight Controls.

Is this normal operation of the A321 in fsx and is there a way to fix it?

The default aircraft in fsx have all sorts of bugs in them. I don't fly the airbus very often, but i'd say try making sure that your vertical speed is close to what's set on the autopilot before engaging it, and that your aircraft is trimmed out.

Also, you can activate the altitude hold before you turn on the master autopilot switch, if i'm not mistaken.

you have to turn off the flight computers in the VC they are 3 buttons above the pilots head, should say something like AIR COMP or ELV COMP.
