Die Flugzeuge kommen!
The Fly Away Germany website is ready to go, but the translation from English to German needs some help. So far, we have been doing our best with Babelfish and Bing Translator, but we are going to need a lot more help to provide a good user experience.
To be blunt, a human touch is needed to make sure that all of the translations of the game's features and concepts come across clearly. If you're a fan of Fly Away Europe, and are fluent in both English and German, we would love to have your help with this translation project. It's people like you who can turn an average game experience into a great game experience, so the user can focus on the flying, not the language.
Other than that though, the site is all ready for our German-speaking friends to join our community. Eventually, we hope to have versions of our site for all the languages spoken by fans of flight simulators, such as Italian, Russian, or Romanian. Wish us luck with translating the Bulgarian version of the site though!
So far, the German site is coming into its own, even with the new German forum launched. So, if you're already a member of our English I happen to be fluent in German head on over there and see what you can find, you may even learn something new or the Internet being the Internet, find something that is actually worth arguing about!
Resources are available for all of the common flight simulators in their German forms. It's all accessible right from the German resource page. With this, we're one step closer to bringing together all the flight simulator fans of the world. Make sure you don't have too much Jaegermeister on the flight! For now, auf Wiedresehen!
