Individuals with X-Plane software can now purchase GMap for it. GMap, which was developed by FSWidgets is a map system that can work in conjunction with Google Maps. Individuals will be able to access FMS flight pans. GMap has proven to be popular with other simulation software packages and the likelihood that it will also be well received by X-Plane owners is pretty good because it is such a great add-on for flight simulation programs.

One simulator that suffers from this quite badly, for example, is X-Plane. It’s a wildly popular simulator but it’s not without its functionality and design issues; the interface, for example, is one of the worst!
