FSX American Airlines Airbus A330-200 RR Fix

American Airlines Airbus A330-200 RR repaint support gets a clean configuration correction for FSX, fixing the aircraft.cfg model entry to use the proper RR2 variant so the livery loads against the right visual model. Requires the Overland SMS A330-200 base package and keeps virtual cockpit and door animations intact.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is a fix for the American Airlines Airbus A330-200 RR with new colors (SMS_A330-200RR_AALNC.ZIP). Corrects model type in .cfg. By Dimitrios Moschos.

Due to a mistake, I had the wrong model type at the cfg. entry, namely, instead of having "model=RR2" I had "model=PW2". You can change it yourself or just copy the following and replace the one I had provided with the package.

Installation:

Copy the following text.

Open (right clic and then edit) the "aircraft.cfg" file, found inside the Overland SMS A330-200 aircraft folder and paste the above after the last repaint there is.
Change the "xx", from the "[fltsim.xx]" of the above, into the next number of the last repaint you already have (if you are new to FSX, see how all the repaints have their numbers increased by +1 in relation to the previous repaint).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
