LKSTX 1.0 expands Strakonice, Czech Republic with detailed scenery for Strakonice Airport (LKST), Prachatice Airport (LKSR), and key city areas including parts of Volyně and Písek, tuned for smooth performance in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. For full glider ground objects, requires the optional object libraries, and Ultimate Terrain X Europe enhances regional landclass accuracy.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

LKSTX 1.0, Czech Republic. Includes Strakonice Airport (LKST), Prachatice Airport (LKSR), city of Strakonice and partial Volyne and Pisek in the E.U. By Pavel Krejci. (See also LKSTX11.ZIP).

Coverage of this work is focused on the airport LKST and city Strakonice in the E.U. Secondary are added backup airport LKSR and parts of city Volyne and Pisek. This scenery is designed as a high-performance. For that reason is using FSX objects with minimal detail settings. Please turn-off ‘autogen’ for the best results. Recommended is to purchase Ultimate Terrain X - Europe, which fixes completely incorrect ground layer for this area.

Install Notes:

1.Place enclosed directory to the folder: Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

2.Copy textures: sco_noaa_smokestack1; sco_noaa_smokestack2b from Microsoft Flight Simulator X\texture to Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\texture (must be converted if used with FSX SP2, the same for all glidertextures).

3. Download Object Library Teil 1 (5.4 MB) and Object Library Teil 2 (5.25 MB) if you wish to see gliders on the ground.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
