FSX Grande Case Island Scenery

Grande Case Island scenery sharpens the St Martin experience with a custom build of Grande Case Airport (TFFG) and a more faithful rendition of nearby Tintamare for VFR island hopping. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it supports Caribbean mesh at LOD 10 and requires MESHANTILLES.ZIP for the intended terrain detail.

Grande Case Island, St Marteen (TFFG). This scenery is fully compatible with Caribbean mesh in LOD 10 (MESHANTILLES.ZIP). Includes more accurate redesign of Tintamare (small island near St Marteen). By Valladier Jean Louis.

Unzip the GRANDECASE.ZIP on an work subfolder.

From your work subfolder.

Copy subfolder in <\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery>

From your work subfolder\

Copy files into <\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\

From your work subfolder\Sound>

Run Simulator X.

This scene it is free to use for any simmor but it not to use for REGULAR COMMERCIAL PRACTICES.

For FSX I have use the following tools:

GMAX for the buildings.
ADE V01.47.07
WHISPLACER for positionements and effects of characters and geologic.
PAINTSHOP for image processing textures or photographs.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
