PMDG 737-800 Virtual Cockpit

Precision Manuals Development Group has just released simulator software for the next generation Boeing airplane 737-800. PMDG is an experienced simulation company that has been producing cool programs and tools to provide entertainment and education for aviation enthusiasts.

PMDG 737NG customers will be able to significantly improve their flying experience using this software. The Boeing 737-800 is a medium range passenger plane that can fly at a maximum service ceiling altitude of 41000 feet. Its wing area is about 124 meters and can operate at a full cruising speed of 823 km/h. It is a narrow body jetliner that comes with twin engines and can achieve a maximum possible thrust of about 121 kN.

This flight simulator full package comes with PMDG livery manager, Boeing manuals, tutorials, flight management systems and virtual cockpit. The retracted landing gears, hub caps for tires, and the complete aerodynamic profile of the wheels are also included.

A separate service pack is available as an update for existing PMDG 737NG customers. Multiple LCD glass cockpit screens are embedded on the front panel that gives a clear picture of important aviation information like airspeed, altitude, pressure, temperature, fuel consumption and radar activity. The interiors are completely redesigned in this version using innovative cabin concepts and unique window designs which brings down cabin noise levels by 4 dB.

The lighting effects are very realistic and the flight controls are very easy to operate. There are separate warning systems for electrical system failures, hydraulic system failures, and engine failures.

This PMDG Boeing 737-800 simulator features an incredible range of avionics equipment and instruments developed over a four year period in cooperation with real pilots and crew members. A 64-bit version of the Microsoft Windows operating system is highly recommended because of memory limitations in FSX.

Check out this program using a widescreen monitor and Nvidia graphics card for best performance.
