Train Simulator

Simulator software programs offer individuals the opportunity to do more then simply fly aircraft. There are other types of simulator programs, one of the most fun and exciting being train simulator software. We will be discussing several of the more well known programs in this section. As noteworthy programs are released and updates are made to existing programs, we will list some of them here.

Microsoft Train Simulator 2 was released last year. Manufactured by Microsoft, this is the second edition of this program. The first one was released in 2001. The eight year gap is pretty substantial but well worth the wait. The updated version has additional routes. Individuals will also have additional trains at their disposal. The newer routes are a mix of both old and new. For instance, individuals will find that they are able to navigate Pennsylvania Railroad’s Horseshoe Curve. It was a well known route in 1946.

TrainSimmer.com is a cool online destination for those who enjoy train simulators. This website provides readers with train simulation related downloads, news and forums. It’s a great place to hang out and spend time Members will find a great little community of people who are passionate about locomotive simulation programs.
