Dornier Do228-212 - Reworked and added views.
Original views reworked ( with permission of PAD ) and additional views ( defined by camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg file ) for the beautiful Dornier Do228 by PREMIER AIRCRAFT DESIGN.
4 cameras pointing at the aircraft and a total of 5 views in vC mode. See Read me.txt file for very easy installation procedures. Also included is a text file that contains the new camera definitions. Enjoy !
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
0 - Make sure FSX is not running.
1 - Make a copy of your aircraft.cfg file.
2 - Open the aircraft.cfg file.
3 - Delete the existing camera definitions.
3 - Open the camera definitions.txt file provided by me.
7 - Select and copy all the camera definitions.
8 - Paste the new camera definitions into the aircraft.cfg file. ( I suggest the bottom of the file ).
9 - Save the aircraft.cfg file.
10 - Start FSX, select the Dornier Do228. Spool up them engines and release the brakes!
Enjoy !
A FEW TIPS:
1 - I strongly recommend the use of the mouse for "swinging" around ( panning ) most cameras.
Activation : SHIFT + O.
Temporary fixation of the camera on something specific : SPACE BAR.
Deactivation : CRTL + SPACE BAR : brings the camera to its original position.
NOTE : the mouse is much more sensitive than a joystick's hat switch. So move it slowly.
2 - If you don't like one of the views I added, you can simply take it out of the cycle of views by setting the parameter CycleHidden=NO to YES ( last line of any camera definition ===> Not true for MICROSOFT aircrafts : the line was not included but you can do it yourself and it will work! ).
This way the definition remains in the file just in case you change your mind later.
LIABILITY :
- Please take note that I assume no responsibility for any ( extremely improbable ) damages to your FSX installation or your computer. As always with downloaded files, you use them at your own risks.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS :
Many thank you to PREMIER AIRCRAFT DESIGN's members for the many hours of work they put into providing us with this great and other various type of aircrafts! Thanks also for giving permission to reuse/rework existing views.
