If there was one popular airlines that mostly used to fly only the Yak-40s, then it can only be the Eurasia Airlines. Created in the late 90's, Eurasia Airlines went on to become a successful Moscow-based carrier by introducing air services to a host of regional cities within five years of their inception.
Eurasia has met with a great degree of success operating Yak-40s on scheduled services from Moscow to destinations such as Anapa and Pskov. That the airlines was able to meet the travel needs of a large number of passengers with the help of Yak-40s ensured that the monoplane continued to find a prominent place in the airline's fleet.
