Very nice job. Thank you. The plane works very well, the aerodynamics are high, and everything works perfectly.
The model is well done but for first-timers flying the C-17, it would be nice to have a readme file that gives the speeds and flap settings for take-off and especially for the approach and landing. I do not have a problem taking off but have a really difficult time landing especially getting the speed right and flaps and also intercepting the glideslope.
If you could post this information it would be great. Thanks
This is now working, or at least for me :) I'd imagine it saved to an already present simobjects folder that isnt the fsx one.
There are plenty of C- 17s out the, you just have to do a basic search. I went that way when I started, and it's all going to depend on what you are looking for, photogenic HD exterior, a functional panel or 2 d.
What I ended up doing is going to Virtavia for a perfect C17, and over to Capt. Sim for a perfect C 130. It's you're choice. There is more of a choice in freeware and the vast majority stomps slot of payware to the dirt. Area 51, Virtavia, Nemeth, plenty to chose from, the same goes for scenery, be very selective because one thing that will slow FSX down, and your computer is variated graphics and different art programs used.
A good way to eliminate a slow system is to right-click on trash basket and select delete all, this will instantly delete and write overall deleted files. The first rule of thumb, don't add anything unless you plan on keeping it, or you'll end up with a backup that carried all of the stuff you've deleted.
Aircraft file does not seem to contain a model, just a bunch of useless "read me" & PDF files. PLEASE FIX! I would really like to have a flyable C-17 in FSX. PLEASE TEST YOUR ADD-ONS BEFORE UPLOADING! THIS ONE IS A DUD!
