3D Train Stuff Releases Cajon Pass Expansion Pack

Now available from 3D Train Stuff is Cajon Pass Route High Desert Rails Expansion Pack. This addition to their Cajon Pass Route includes new activities, new F40PH locomotives, Amtrak cars, freight cars (including a Boeing trainset) and more.

This add-on contains a whopping 258 mile route which complements Microsoft Train Simulator and its other add-ons seamlessly. Also included are 15 additional locomotives and trainsets, with added cabviews, interiors and sounds. And since this is primarily a freight route, 30 new pieces of stock have been added with 28 related activities to get you rolling.

The Cajon Pass Route is historically significant for being the first in the area which opened up much more options for transportation in and out of the greater Los Angeles area. Another interesting aspect of this route is Summit line change up, in which the route was redesigned to a lower graded curve in the 1970s for better ease of travel for the newer, larger 89-foot freight cars. However, even with the less steep grade, it is still considered a challenge, at times, to properly manuver the accent, which is reflected accurately with the greatest attention to detail in this simulater add-on.

This is a must have for true railroad aficionados, not for the historical significance, the add-on is also up to date, including the modern subdivisions such as the Palmdale cutoff, as well as modern signals, junctions, stations, and beautiful detailed scenery.

The actual Cajon pass remains, to this day, a very popular site for trainspotters or railfans. It is such an ideal location for this for many reasons, due to its history, ease of access and gorgeous countryside. Chances are you've already seen parts of it if you're a fan of good railway photography as photographs of the trains and railways of the area have been featured in many magazines and books on the topic. And, like all of the ad-ons available for this product, Cajon Pass Route High Desert Rails Expansion Pack is offered for immediate download, so you can start enjoying the new route right away without having to pay extra for CD processing costs.

New adventures are just a download away!
