Editorial

I grabbed this take on the ERJ-145 to give it a go, having seen it had a new livery to try out. It’s always good to have more legacy items to add into FS2002/2004 and I decided that this would be a goodie to include.

Although it’s based on the original Mike Stone model, which is very good, the livery addition is much welcomed. Included with the mod are all of the real and genuine details that you would expect to see. One thing is for sure; the livery matches the quality of the original model.

This adds a nice depth to the aircraft selection whilst staying true to the design of the original. It comes with all of the right details despite the livery itself being a little on the basic side. The line-up of the text and the detail on the various parts of the aircraft comes across very impressively.

One thing I did notice as well was that there were some changes to do with the way that the model works. From elevators and flaps coming to life to working reverse thrusters and spoilers, this goes the extra mile in delivery.

It’s a nice change and one that makes a pretty reasonable difference to have included. Whilst nothing revolutionary sometimes I like to role-play and fly for specific companies. This allows the same thing to occur, and makes it easy for me to enjoy my time up in the skies with this model feeling fresh one again.

Nothing spectacular but a useful – and free – add-on to have if you use the original.
