FSX Space 1999 Eagle

From the 70's TV Series Space 1999. Finally FS allows space flight and it won't cost you 2 million to get there. - Absolute ceiling 550,000ft / 104 miles!! ran out of atmosphere. - service ceiling 400,000ft / 75.75 miles - V max 2168KIAS @ Sea Level.

userWed, 05 Jan 2011 04:25:29 GMT: Download immediately! Incredible aircraft. 400,000 ft nothing. From the flight analysis I reached 2,500,000 ft!!! You can see the curve of the earth from space. I looked down on the tiny islands of Hawaii where I took off.

I give it a 8 because it disapointed me that when your finally in space you lose all controll of the SPACE PLANE!! and when you try to get back on earth you spin way out of controll and take forever to get on the ground. lol so if it's not too much to ask can't you guys make somthing that can be controlled in space I would really have fun with it and by the way you guys are doing a GREAT job sorry if Im commenting too much.
Chad381Tue, 17 Jul 2007 18:46:50 GMT: Great version of the eagle transport looks just right.Only two things I can think of which could be better, you cant leave the cargo pod behind when you lower it ( E2) and the engines seem to powerful at idle hence trying to landing seems to leave you floating around above the ground unable to get down. But other than that brilliant.Now which way is moon base alpha?

680i_ba1Tue, 03 Apr 2007 00:31:45 GMT: Wow this thing hauls! Sweet! Textures and lighting are grate. Would have give it a ten but the cockpit needs some work. When you look around all you see is stars to the side and behind you. In the cockpit the only thing you see is the front of the craft. Other then that this a joy to fly around in! It's a shame you can't fly through space with this. I ended up stalling out and losing control at 500,000+ lol.
TimFarrandWed, 27 Dec 2006 09:51:53 GMT: This is an excellent vehicle to use, take off , landing, lighting and rendering all excellent , the only reason I've given it an eight not a 10 is that the instrument panel on F9 isn't useable and using the hat while inside the cockpit results in a 180 degree view of inside and behind you is space . Apart from that great fun , well done and a big thanks.
