FS2004 AirTrain Boeing 737-700

Current livery. Both winglet equipped and non-winglet equipped versions are included for each of the 737 variants. Air Tran has a significant number of both -700 and -800 aircraft on order and the first are scheduled to enter service in 2004. The aircraft can be used for AI or for flying in their own right. All necessary files are included. Model by Tsutomu Urakawa. Repaints by John Newman.

The folder contains repaints of both the Boeing 737-700 & 800 in the current AirTran livery. Both winglet equipped and non-winglet equipped versions are included for the two 737 variants. AirTan have a significant number of both 700 & 800 aircraft on order and are nderstood to also leasing some aircraft from other airlines.

N738AT AirTran - Fictional registration pending service entry in 2004.

The aircraft is a complete package and includes all required model files. Although it is primarily designed for AI Flight it can be flown in its own right. A separate aircraft.config file is included should you wish to fly non AI. See installation notes.

The textures of the model are 32 bit with Alpha but with no mips for better quality, and they are in the main hand painted.

Installation:

Unzip the "737atn" file then "copy and paste" or "drag and drop" both or either of the "B737-700 AirTran" and "B737-800 AirTran" folders as required from the unzipped file to the Microsoft Games\FS2004\Aircraft folder. The aircraft will appear under the "AI Aircraft" entry in the FS2004 index. The aircraft also works in FS2002.

If you wish to fly the aircraft in non AI mode then there is another config file named "Non AI aircraft.config" available in the folder. Preferably backup the original "aircraft.config" file elsewhere before deleting it and replacing it with the replacement file "Non AI aircraft.config" now renamed to "aircraft.config". The aircraft will now appear in the FS2004 index under "Boeing 737-700" and Boeing 737-800 respectively.
