iFDG is proud to present the Airbus A319. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wing views, flaps, full lighting configuration, highly detailed, reflective textures, and dynamic shine. This example is painted in the scheme of Airbus house colors, registration (F-GSVU). Included are default panel and sound. Original by iFDG. Paint by Dirk Kiefer.

The corporate jet version of the A319, the A319-133XCJ can seat up to 39 passengers. Using the same powerful engines as the A320, the A319 offers the speed and performance of a commercial jet with the sleek, small frame of a corporate jet. The A319-133XCJ Is capable of traveling an incredible 6,000 nautical miles without being refueled! The A319-133XCJ’s excellent performance and fuel capacity have made it one of the most widely used corporate jets today. The French and German governments use it for transportation of government and airforce officials, citing its reliability and cost-effectiveness. One suspects that the stunning, majestic design of the aircraft may have also played a role in the popularity of the A319-133XCJ.

"The A319 program was launched at the Paris Airshow in June 1993 on the basis of just six orders placed by ILFC late in 1992 and the predicted better prospects of the commercial airliner market, which were certainly realised. The first A319 airline order came from French carrier Air Inter (since merged into Air France), whose order for six was announced in February 1994. Since then Swissair, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Northwest, United, US Airways and British Airways are among the major customers that have ordered more than 500 A319s."
