Editorial

I found this mod a really interesting one to download, specifically as I get to enjoy the pleasure of riding around on a boat instead. It’s nice to see FSX in a new way and with this mod you should have no pleasure in getting to enjoy a high quality model that lets you see the world from the water instead of the skies.

It looks wonderful and offers an easy way for you to engage with a boat design that is simple to enjoy and ensures you can finally see why the world of FSX can be enjoyed by more than planes or helicopters.

This comes with a fully functional 3D cockpit that looks excellent, making management and control of the boat nice and easy. I found myself getting used to it quite quick despite having no real naval experience. This was thanks to the addition of the new custom gauges as well as the moving parts helping you see what is in action and what parts of the boat are just remaining static.

This should help you understand how to use the boat a lot easier than ever before. To make your boat time even easier you’ll have new materials, better marine equipment and plenty of new lighting to help you maintain control and visibility all at once. It’s these additions that make such a considerable and telling difference to the kind of boating experience that uo can get.

Deltasim done a marvelous job with this, and one that I fully endorse and recommend that you check out!

It’s very easy to manage and looks brilliant, giving me a total appreciation for how authentic FSX can look down below away from the skies. I would recommend that you benefit from the same experience right away with this!

This is a great add on for fsx only if you want to make it run smoothly take the graphics down to low and turn the crash damage off in the flight menue bar by pressing alt then select the aircraft pull down menu then choose relism and you will get a screen up happy sailling

I think this one is very underrated! It deserves a higher score than 7 (registered users)and definately a higher score than 4 (unregistered)! For you noobs who don't understand why you crash in the sea, change the settings of realism to: "do not detect crashes" and you won't sea: "Splash!...You've crashed." The reasons are: 1.GRAPHICS It looks like an original HIGH quality model of Flight Simulator X and NOT like one of those lower quality third party models. The boat has reflective surfaces and is really nice. The Virtual Cockpit is VERY well done and has moving parts and looks realistic too! 2.Sounds The sounds are okay and the horn echoes in the (virtual) distance. 3.Steering Steering is too slow for my taste, that's why I won't give it a 10! (sorry!) I've tried for 10 minutes trying to get away from a beach, but just couldn't manoeuvre...fast enuff. (I didn't have the patience to move all the way backwards at a speed of about 2 knots) It would be fun to use the yacht in New York (and check out Liberty Island) Or in London or anywhere else that has nice sea or river sceneries! For being such a GOOD and FUN download, I give it a 9!
