FSX Killeen/Ft. Hood Airport Scenery

Killeen/Ft. Hood Airport (KGRK) scenery refreshes the default field with a modeled terminal, an expanded civilian parking apron, jetways, and updated parking positions for smoother airline and GA operations in FSX. It integrates cleanly with the stock layout and requires Rwy12 object libraries for the terminal to appear.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Killeen/Ft. Hood Airport (KGRK), Texas (TX). Adds the terminal, new civilian parking apron, jetways and parking spots to the default airport. Requires Rwy12 object libraries. By John Patterson.

Two files are included:

1. AFX_KGRK.BGL -
Adds the new civilian parking apron, jetways and parking spots to the default airport.

2. kgrk.bgl -
Adds the terminal itself, or something resembling it. You must have Rwy12 Object Placer Library Collections by Israel Roth and Seev Kahn installed (AVSIM FS2004 Scenery Design Category) before this terminal will show up in FSX. You do not need the Rwy12 Object Placer program itself in order to use this AFCAD.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip to to a to the addon scenery folder of FSX. This is typically:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery.

These AFCADs have not been tested in FS2004 so I can not guarantee they will work in FS2004. If you try it, you do so at your own risk.

This file was created using Instant Scenery Design and Airport Facilitator X from FLight1. It is provided free of charge but a copyright of the work is claimed by the author. This file may not be used, whole or in part, without written permission from the author. This file is not for sale nor is it to be sold for a fee under any circumstances. This file shall not be used in a commercial product without the proper licensing from Flight1.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
