This freeware repaint showcases a special Saratov color scheme for the SCDS Yak-40 v1.3, designed to depict the corporate aircraft once operated by the Saratov aircraft plant in Russia. It offers both cargo and passenger layout flexibility thanks to its side cargo door and convertible interior. Livery by creator Maxim Mysin. Original rivet detailing contributed by Zbynek Pavlon.

Background

The Yakovlev Yak-40, introduced in the late 1960s, is a tri-engined short-haul jet known for its reliable regional service and capability to operate from smaller airfields. The variant supported by this add-on offers a practical cargo/passenger combination, which has made it highly adaptable in various flight operations. In this livery, the fuselage is adorned with markings representing the Saratov aircraft plant corporate design, highlighting a distinctive part of Russian aviation heritage.
