FS2004 Continental Express Convair 580

DXT3 textures only for Greg Pepper's CV-580. When Continental Airlines bought out Frontier Airlines, they were to put the CV-580s into service under the Continental Express banner for short haul routes. But only two CV-580s ever got painted and sadly they never got to see revenue service with Continental. Most of the old Frontier 580's are still flying today with various companies, but at long last are nearing the end of their useful lives and are being stored and scrapped. This is a rendition of N73166, which was the only CV-580 to ever wear the full Continental colors. You will need the base package from CalClassics. Thanks to Airliners photographer Jim Newton for shooting the picture of this historic plane and providing the additional aircraft data needed to complete this paint. Repaint by Joe DeGregorio.

Installation:

• Place the folder texture.bta into the cv580sp1 folder and open the aircraft.cfg with notepad and add this entry into it.
• Make sure to change the X in the [flightsim.X] to whatever this # paint may be in your livery list.
