This remake of the Boeing 787-8 was introduced to me by a fellow sim user. Having been looking for something to mess around with and test out, I decided to try this aircraft out to see what it brought to the table.

What I noticed more or less immediately was the excellent work on the model. The developer of the model, Camil Valiquette, was very impressive in the attention to detail being shown. For a free model, this really does look very impressive.

The care that went into everything from window placing to the Union Jack livery really shows how much attention and care went into this. Another nice touch was the introduction of the Animated Ground Servicing service, which went a fair bit beyond the call of duty for me.

It’s the little things with this mod. Its’ by no means a comprehensive add-on or a system that includes every single thing that you would expect. However, by the same token, it includes all of the usual features that you would be looking for. It’s got a nice model, it’s accurate, it’s fair to look at and it flies well.

I can’t really think of anything that I would critique about this, to be honest, relative to expectation. If you download this and want to try it out and expect something special, you’ll be let down. For a fresh mode that flies fairly and is a genuine attempt at realism, though, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better take on the 787-8.

What an unrealistic model. Airspeed doesn't go overspeed until around 600knots, (idk if thats how it really is though) it responds on a dime, very unreal for a big jet, textures are 'eh,' and the wings aren't shaped like the real one. The only cool thing was the camera views, except they were labled in french.

its a pity that it doed not come out with an "own" cockpit. It looks like FSX selected the Bombardier CRJ cockpit as a default for this Boeing
