X-Plane 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliner 1.0

Boeing 787 Dreamliner v1.0 brings a lightweight, Plane Maker–style widebody to X-Plane 11, converted from Jacques Brault’s earlier X-Plane 8/9 release. It focuses on straightforward handling with a simple 2D instrument panel and supports classic panel flying alongside the simulator’s default 3D view.

X-Plane 11 (XP11)

787 in XP11.X-Plane 11 Boeing 787 Dreamliner 1.0. This is Jacques Brault's X-Plane 8 and 9 Boeing Dreamliner, converted for X-Plane 11.

It is a simple 'Plane Maker' model and as such lacks all the 3D awesomeness that so many people demand these days. It also has a simple 2D panel.

X-Plane 11 is configured by default for 3D cockpit view, so to use this aircraft you must choose to do one of two things: After loading the aircraft, select 'Option-w' on MacOS for 2D or 'Alt-w' on WinOS for the 2D instrument panel.

How to install this mod

X-Plane aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy into Aircraft folder

    Place the aircraft folder into X-Plane 12/Aircraft/ (or X-Plane 11/Aircraft/).

  3. Restart X-Plane

    Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    I recently tried your freeware 787 its amazing even with its 2d cockpit. I would really apprecite a united or all nippon livery for it.
