Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

A reworked version for FSX of Tim Conrad's legendary C133 B. Adds new photo realistic main, overhead and flight engineer 2D panels, reworked gauges for the VC and added new internal and external views. Also adds a new .air file for this version, because some systems didn't worked properly with the old one. The original .air file is also included. Also includes an interesting icing mod by Charles Owenk.

Many thanks to Tim Conrads for his great C-133 sim, Philippe Wallaert and all the other unknown guys for the gauges used in the main and VC panel and Halcyon Skies for the C-133 cockpit photos. This is the whole aircraft, only tested in FSX + Acceleration. By Andiroto.

Installation:

  • Unzip C133RW.ZIP into a temporary location, your desktop for example.
  • Move the C133B_RW folder from your temporary folder (desktop) into your FSX simobjects/aircrafts folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    C-133 has decent flight characteristics. Not real maneuverable. Too simple 3D cockpit, 2D acceptable. Can't get it to slow below 150 knots, so it's troublesome to land.

    Pretty cool. I love what you did with the panels. Yes it took me forever to figure out how to use the autopilot. Once I got it down bueno.

    Hi there, i have downloaded your ANA 777-300. When i load the aircraft the vc panel does not work. Firstly the gauges flash black all the time and none of the switches work. Thank you for your help, Much appreciated, Charles Sherwood
