Editorial

This simple and steady little app by Bruce Fitzgerald does just what you would expect. This is a realistic way to add a parachute jumper who actually works as you would have intended. I was really impressed, having grabbed this as more of a novelty at first – before getting to see first-hand how fun this experience is!

With an authentic free-fall and also chute parachute mode, you get a really enjoyable experience with this. Flight dynamics are based on the real thing, so you can find that it’s quite fun to parachute around the place using this awesome little model.

The Simplest of Enjoyments

It also comes with ambient leg motions, which are very funny to watch! It’s a nice touch, though, as it stops the pilot looking like he’s just floating down to the ground. With animated head and torso movements, too, it’s nice to see that the little man is alive and kicking as you come gracefully back down to the ground.

With red smoke and a rescue strobe added, too, it’s the little things with this mod that make it worth having. While it’s hardly going to revolutionize the flight experience, I personally found it to be a nice little add-on to have.

I did struggle a little at first to get used to the controls, but there’s some good detail included with the mod to make sure that you can get it down quickly. Whatever you think, though, this is a fun and engaging little add-on that just adds another touch of variety to your simulator.

So you just start in the sky and glide to the ground?

How do you open the parachute.
