This modification resolves texture clarity issues for the classic Piper J-3 Cub in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It substitutes the original blurry textures with sharper replacements. Authored by Andrew McGowin, it enhances the visuals of this default aircraft and preserves the traditional charm of the historic Piper J-3 Cub.

Technical Details and Enhanced Visuals

The Piper J-3 Cub, first introduced in the late 1930s, is a renowned single-engine, two-seat aircraft often recognized for its excellent training capabilities. In the simulated environment, pilots frequently use this model for practicing short-field landings or performing slow-speed maneuvers. However, the default textures in FSX sometimes appear hazy at close range. This fix replaces those files in order to deliver clarity to the aircraft's fuselage and cockpit panels.

Installation Steps

1. Extract the included texture files to a temporary folder.
2. In Aircraft\Piper_J3Cub\, back up all directories beginning with texture. to keep a safe copy of the originals.
3. Copy the new texture. folders from your temporary folder into the default Piper_J3Cub directory. Overwrite the old ones if prompted.
4. Enjoy the improved visual fidelity in your simulator.
