FSX Piper J-3 Cub Fix

Piper J-3 Cub Fix restores missing aircraft selection thumbnails and refines the aircraft.cfg for a cleaner, more consistent setup in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It requires PIPER17.ZIP and places correctly sized preview images in their proper texture folders, helping the Cub display and load with accurate menu entries and configuration.

Piper J-3 Cub Fix, for use with PIPER17.ZIP. This has only the missing thumbnails. Each thumbnail is in the folder it goes in. There is also a fix included for the aircraft config file. By David Grindele.

This a fix for David Grindele's Piper17.zip
This has only the missing thumbnails for the file. Each thumbnail
is in the folder it goes in. Unzip to a temp folder and move the
thumbnail to the corresponding folder. There is also a fix included
for the Aircraft config file. Install the config into your Microsoft
Piper_J3Cub Fsx folder and overwrite the original.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
