Installation Procedure
- Extract the contents of C172_AirHamburg2.ZIP to a temporary location, verifying that folder structures remain intact.
- Locate the folder named
texture.Air Hamburg 2
and move it into the “C172
” directory under “SimObjects\Airplanes
” within your main Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder. - Open the
aircraft.cfg
file (using any text editor) found in theC172
folder, then append the following entry under the most recent[fltsim.X]
section, adjusting the “X” to continue your existing sequence:

aircraft.cfg
file. Once you launch the simulator again, you will see the new entry in the aircraft selection menu.
Important Notes
This package contains only the repaint. You will require the original freeware base model of the default Garmin G1000-enabled Cessna 172, which is available in the Fly Away Simulation file library. This repaint is freeware, created by Tim Scharnhop, and should be installed accordingly.
