FS2004 AFCAD2 File EDDH

Hamburg International Airport (EDDH) gets a refined AFCAD for the German Airports 3 scenery in FS2004, tuned for operation without static aircraft. It aligns taxiways and runway geometry, assigns runway 05/23 for arrivals and 15/33 for departures, and uses a STAR crossing technique to support simultaneous runway use.

EDDH, Hamburg Int'l Airport, Germany, for German Airports 3 scenery. FS2004 only. This file is for use without the static planes in the scenery folder. Runways 5/23 is used for landing, 15/33 for takeoff. This AFCAD uses the stars crossing runway method so both runways are used simultaneously. All taxiways and runways are properly aligned. Installation:

Copy the AF2_EDDH_GAP-Team file into the Flight Simulator 9\aerosoft\GA3 Vol 1\Eddh\scenery (default) or Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery folder if this is where you keep all of your AFCAD 2 bgl's. Make sure you overwrite the default GAP AFCAD 2 bgl.

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme
