FSX EJC Convair 580

EJC Convair 580. This is a texture made for the Convair 580 model created by CalClassics. This CV-580 is for the Army of Colombia with FTE enrollment 1121. This equipment was seized from drug traffickers and delivered to the army for use as transport equipment, troops and medevac. description=The CV-580 made its airline debut with Frontier Airlines in July 1964. It was a Pacific Airmotive conversion of the CV340 or CV440 with very powerful Allison 501 turboprop engines as used in the Lockheed L.188 Electra. The substantial additional power required an enlarged tail to provide adequate engine out handling, but there was no increase in Mach limits. Maximum weight increased to 54,600lbs and airline conversions typically had high density seating for 58 passengers. Additional fuel tankage (total 2,880 US gallons) became optional in long range VIP transport versions certificated at 58,140lbs, but maximum landing weight was 52,000lbs for all.
