This free repaint showcases an ADAC Luftrettung livery for the Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) Bo 105, widely recognized for high maneuverability and dependable twin-engine performance. Created by Bernhard Lechner, it reproduces the dynamic design used by Germany’s prominent automobile association’s air ambulance division. Please note that these textures only work with the payware Nemeth Designs Bo 105 for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and you must acquire that base package from a vendor such as SimShack before installing.

Prominent Features of the Air Ambulance Rotorcraft

The Bo 105, developed originally by MBB and later produced under Eurocopter, is admired for its hingeless main rotor system, which contributes to precise handling. The ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) Luftrettung adaptation reflects real-world emergency medical response tasks across Germany, focusing on speed and accessibility in critical situations. This particular scheme highlights the dedicated rescue markings and bright color scheme that are essential for visibility during urgent missions.
