Lightweight biplane fighter, a small aircraft of mixed construction. It was used mainly as a fighter trainer. 437 built, including 25 delivered to the Spanish nationalists.

CFS2/FS2004/FS2002 version, 3 skins, multiresolution, virtual cockpit with working gauges, cockpit animations,

  • Shock absorber movement
  • Wheel rotation
  • Dynamic VC gauges
  • Moving rudder pedals
  • Open cockpit animation

The shock absorber movement in the Icarus Meridionali Imam Ro-41 are so realistic that you feel like riding a real plane. The graphics are very fluid as they are powered by the one of the most advanced graphic accelerators present.

Other spectacular effects in the graphics department of this flight simulator include real time wheel rotation, realistic VC gauges, Moving rudder pedals, Open cockpit animation, etc. The VC gauges present are as realistic as in real planes. The moving rudder pedals help you in learning about aerodynamics and the physics of an airplane's flight. The cockpit is designed by specialists in the graphic designing department that make it difficult to tell the difference between the simulation and a real plane. Further, the sky and ground are as realistic as can be.

The plane's details, air strip's details, the moving clouds, etc. are all so realistic that give you the feel of controlling a real plane. The plane looks as a perfect scale model of the original Imam Ro-41. Reading the actual plane's history will definitely make you try out this simulation model.

The original Ro.41 found it's first role as a trainer aircraft, and a series of 30 two-seat aircraft first flew in 1937. The Ro.41 replaced the Breda Ba.25, and soon another 264 single-seat and 66 two-seat models were ordered. The Ro.41 was also proposed as light fighter. Twenty eight were sent to Spain where, thanks to their high rate of climb, they acted as point-defence interceptors around Seville, though it appears that they did not score any victories. Though it served only for a limited time, it achieved some victories. This fighter plane thus is as important as a freedom fighter or a soldier who protects a country. Try out this simulation model and be proud to defend your imaginary country.

Once you try it, a smile will be posted in your face seeing it's stunning details and graphics! Happy flying!
