Editorial

This remake of the old American Airlines A300B4-200 is a very impressive model, and one that I took to quite quickly. This new releases comes with many excellent features that make it a fair bit more enjoyable to fly than previous models, but just how good is it?

The Design

The design is obviously a very important and vital part of any good mod, and this captures that with absolute ease. Including various new features that are unique to the SGA as well as loaded new features that know their place, this package gives you all the help in the world in understanding why an aircraft like this would be something that you would like to use.

It’s a really easy to use design, too; many aircraft can be accurate to the point where you need to be a professional pilot to manage them! With this mod, though? That problem simply does not exist. It’s easy to manage and control, whilst giving you plenty of freedom as you fly. In short, the design is an impressive element that should help you control, understand and enjoy the actual flight process a little bit more.

The design is helped further by the introduction of a new dynamic shine effect which just looks awesome. Now the skies will bounce off of your aircraft, making it look better than ever before. It also includes full and accurate lighting which will improve your chances of reaching a certain level of performance, and it will also give you plenty of high-end wing views that look wonderful.

The mod goes the full distance in making sure you have a clear and honest looking design to enjoy with so many little features and changes being added in for more than effect. The new animations such as opening doors etc. all add another flavor of realism to the aircraft, offering something which is fit, firing and fun to be a part of. If you want to learn about what makes even older aircraft in FS2004 look good, try out this mod!

The designer has done a pretty unreal job in putting it all together and giving us something that we can enjoy using and genuinely respect being a part of. If you want to have an aircraft that gives you this kind of command whilst looking excellent, you should definitely take the time to try this mod out in the future.

No gauges, but I can install some. This plane I think won't land properly! Are A300s really like that?
