Flight Dynamics and Sound Upgrade for FFX / Vistaliner models. Package contains four different weight and cargo configurations for Erick Cantu's FFX / Vistaliner Boeing 727-200 model along with a complete B727-200 sound package. Detailed instructions are included of how to add Richard Probst's new and updated FS2004 Boeing 727-200 panel to your Vistaliner fleet. Additionally, there are links, files, and instructions of how to add some very nice sound and speed reference charts to the Probst panel application. The flight dynamics are the culmination of four years of improvement and evolution over any previous release and will give a high-fidelity simulation of actual B727-200 flight, as verified from actual B727-200 full motion simulator flight testing. By Charles Fox.

Contained in this download are 3 different passenger / weight configuration files for the B727-200 and 1 cargo / freight configuration file for the B727-200. All of the following flight dynamics files simulate a Boeing 727-200 equipped with Pratt & Whitney JT8D-17R engines (B727-200's produced from 1976 through 1984). Before beginning installation, determine which model you wish to use. Here is a summary of each of the files:
Folder 'B722 134Pax 182K lbs': Contains files to simulate a passenger B727-200 with 20 first-class and 114 coach class passengers. Fuel load is the B727-200 'standard' of 8,090 US gallons. Maximum takeoff weight is 190,500 lbs. With this model and with the full compliment of passengers, baggage, and fuel, the model is 181,203 lbs with a range of about 1,930 NM. This configuration was used by most of the major airlines that had mixed (first and coach) class layouts on 727 flights (American, Continental, Delta, United, US Air, Air France, etc.).
Folder 'B722 155Pax 186K lbs': Contains files to simulate a passenger B727-200 with a single, 155 passenger coach class layout with a 34' seat pitch arrangement. Fuel load is the B727-200 'standard' of 8,090 US gallons. Maximum takeoff weight is 190,500 lbs. With this model and with the full compliment of passengers, baggage, and fuel, the model is 185,613 lbs with a range of about 1,880 NM. Typically, this configuration was primarily used by airlines that provided long-range charter flights to resort destinations.
Folder 'B722 170Pax 189K lbs': Contains files to simulate a passenger B727-200 with a single, high-density, 170 passenger coach class layout. Fuel load is the B727-200 'standard' of 8,090 US gallons. Maximum takeoff weight is 190,500 lbs. With this model and with the full compliment of passengers, baggage, and fuel, the model is 188,763 lbs with a range of about 1,810 NM. This configuration was primarily used by airlines that provided short-range, shuttle-type flights between major cities.
Folder 'B722 F 210K lbs': Contains files to simulate a freighter B727-200 with a maximum 45,668 lbs of cargo. Fuel load is the B727-200 maximum of 9,775 US gallons. Maximum takeoff weight is 209,500 lbs. With this model and with full cargo weight and fuel loaded, the model is 209,500 lbs with a range of 2,100NM. This configuration was/is being used by many operators that deliver bulk cargo (FedEx, DHL, CAT, Kitty Hawk, etc.). This file was made specifically for the FFX/Vistaliner B727-200F model with the large cargo door that opens on the port side of the aircraft.
