FS2004 747-400/-400ER Flight Dynamics

Boeing 747-400/-400ER Flight Dynamics, v7.2. Flight dynamics for the Boeing 747-400 and 747-400ER with GE-CF6 and PW4062 engines, including a more accurate LOC interception while on VOR or ILS tracking. By Pedro Oliveira.

Installation: First of all, unizp this .zip's content to a temp. folder; then you will have 4 folders, 2 for the 747-400 and other 2 for the 747-400ER; so, each version of the aircraft has 2 engine settings (GE and P&W). For using the new accurate flight dynamics, you should copy these new 4 folders to "aircraft" folder of FS2004; then, copy the other 4 folders (model, texture, sound, panel) of the original b747_400 folder ("aircraft\b747_400") to inside the other new 4 created folders, in order to have, in each one, flight dynamics (.air and .cfg files) + check. and ref. files + model + texture + sound + panel. Then, if you want, you may delete the original "b747_400" folder.

There are 2 engine settings (GE-CF6 and PW4062) for each version of the plane (747-400 and 747-400ER). Each version/setting has its own characteristics. The taxi on idle is very precise, now, and differs from each version. The GE version has no EPR gauge (uses N1 % instead has its primary engine reference gauge). Engines have a 40% N1 limit usage on taxing to prevent blowing on the ground. The GE-CF6 don't have a huge amount of residual thrust on the ground so a squirt of power is needed occasionally. The PW4062 (63,300lbs) have lots of residual power and controlling the speed at even high TOWs brings the brakes warm up.
