FSX Westland Future Lynx

Westland Future Lynx Navy “Black Cat” repaint refreshes Alphasim’s helicopter with a distinctive carrier-ready finish, tuned for the Navy variants and paired with reworked camera definitions for smoother viewing in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Requires LYNXUPDATE.ZIP, and includes small optional panel updates for classic gauges and glass cockpit setups.

A repaint for the Alphasim Westland Future Lynx Navy helicopters (LYNXUPDATE.ZIP required) in a special "Black Cat" paint scheme. The model differs a little to the real one. The repaint is for the Navy versions. Reworked camera definitions are included. Repaint by Erwin Welker.

Copy Textures into your Future Lynx folder.

Cameras (FSX only): Copy all the lines from the file "FSX-Cameras" somewhere above the existing cams into the aircraft.cfg.

Note: I have put little updates for my other previous Lynx-panels into that addon. Only for that case you are using it. One is for the FS9 "Look around panel with classic gauges" and one for the FSX glasscockpit.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
