FS2004 Lockheed L-1049H Super Constellation

Lockheed L-1049H Super Constellation brings the convertible passenger-freighter “Super H” to FS2004 with four distinct variants, including radar-nose and tip-tank configurations, plus a detailed virtual cockpit, authentic panels and gauges, refined animations, tailored lights and exhaust, and researched handling. It requires the Lockheed L-1049G “Super G” Constellation base package.

The L1049H was a convertible passenger/cargo version of the Super Constellation. Included in the package are four models representing aircraft with and without radar noses and tip tanks. Model, VC, and texture basics by Manfred Jahn, panels, gauges, and animations by Hansjoerg Naegele, flight dynamics by Luis Pallas, wing view angles by Bill Tyne and Andreas Trapp, lights and exhaust effects by Roland Berger, checklist and documentation by Volker Boehme, flight test and handling research by Stefan Werner. The 1049 project is hosted by Tom Gibson's Calclassic forum.

  • Extract the zip to a temporary folder.
  • Verify you have a working installation of our Lockheed L1049G "Super G" Constellation. If not present, download and install first.
  • Copy the folder "Lockheed_L1049H" to "Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\".

In the aircraft selection menu, the new Super H Cargo Constellations will show up under Lockheed > L-1049H Super Constellation.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
