FS2004 Eastern Airlines Martin 404

Textures for Dee Waldron's Martin 404 model available at California Classics. Eastern purchased a fleet of fourty Martin 404's to replace DC-3s for short routes in the early 1950s. N462A served with Eastern until purchased by Mohawk Airlines then traded to Ozark Airlines. These textures depict N462A about 1955. Textures by Gary Harper.

description=The Martin 202\/404 was truly the first "modern" postwar airliner. Designed to be a replacement for the Douglas DC-3, the "Martinliner" was the first post-war airliner design to reach production. First flown in November of 1946, the Model 2-0-2 gained full airliner certification in August, 1947. A total of 43 Model 202 and 202A's were built.\nThe Martin 4-0-4 "Skyliner" followed in 1950. Refinements included a longer fuselage, a pressurized and air-conditioned cabin, and more powerful engines. 103 Model 404's were built before production ended.
