FSX Callsign EXPRESS EditVoicepack X Update

EXPRESS callsign audio for AIG traffic gets corrected with this EditVoicepack X update, replacing six earlier callouts so phrase segments match the simulator’s sound library. Designed for FSX, it keeps ATC pronunciation consistent and reliable across prior AIG releases and new installs, and requires EditVoicepack X.

This update replaces previous AIG released EditVoicepack files that use the EXPRESS phrase as part of the callsign. Normally EditVoicepack files are compatible between EditVoicepack 3.1 for FS9 and EditVoicepack X for FSX. However it was discovered that a couple of the sound segments that create the EXPRESS callsign in EditVoicepack 3.1 do not use the same segment phrases in EditVoicepack X.

If you have previously installed the included callsigns, follow the instructions in section 1 below. If you have not previously installed the included callsigns, but would like to install them now, skip section 1 and follow the instructions listed in section 2 below.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
