Southwest’s Boeing 737-700 “Florida One” brings the SkySpirit winglet model to life in FSX with an upgraded virtual cockpit and crisp 32-bit textures. It features rain-effect wipers, switchable LCD displays with EICAS, PFD and MFD, autobrake controls, a realistic FMC, opening pilot window, cabin lighting, and GPWS.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Southwest Boeing 737-700 "Florida One" with advanced VC for Skyspirit native FSX Boeing 737-700 winglet model. Upgraded to FSX using Alrots revised Boeing 737-800 VC. This model includes working wipers with rain effect. Switches for LCD screens, EICAS, PFD, MFT, autobrake. Also opening pilots window, cabin lights switch, realistic FMC, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS). High quality "Florida One" 32 bit textures, modified and assembled by Enrique Cornejo. Installation:

  • Copy the Project Opensky "Florida_One B737-700-FSX"-folder in to your (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes)
  • Copy the content from the folder "effects" in to your FSX Mainfolder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects)
  • Copy the content from the folder "Gauges" in to your FSX Mainfolder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Gauges)
  • Move the GPWS folder in the Sounds folder into the main Sound folder in FSX.

This new cockpit includes a GPWS system. I have noticed that the gauges of the GPWS cause a crash to desktop when you try to end the flight, or when you try to quit FSX, or even when you try to choose another aircraft. However, the airplane and the GPWS works well inside FSX, even if you navigate through menus for weather or map or stuff like that, so you won't get any issue during a normal flight. Nevertheless, if this problem is too bothering for you, you can simply remove the GPWS gauges from the panel folder of the 737, this will solve it.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Great package, I download both of the archives and follow the instructions to the letter, the plane shows in the airplanes section, selected as usual, the game load normally, then I can see de VC but I cannot use any button or switch on the VC, the 2D view works fine, what can i do to fix this problem?

    So far I read your comment and because of the model, it has this problem but only if you advance the pilot's seat forward this problem will be solved.
