This version of the RQ4B includes all of the real world aero/engine dynamics publicly available. This version is capable of simulating real world scenarios for real world RQ-4B ground based pilots (USAF/USN). All dynamics are true or based on true mathematic formulas. Even the lights have been fixed for realism. Real world kneeboard data is included. Created by Kazunori Ito. Panel by Bob Chicilon. Sound by Aaron R. Swindle. Flight dynamics, data and modifications by Douglas E. Trapp.

To install, copy the RQ-4B folder and all subfolders to your Airplanes folder in FSX. Read the instructions included in the text documents in the Gauges and Smoke subfolders in order to properly install the panel and smoke effects.

The panel is an F-86 panel only because it shows more accurate data for a single engine jet, and once installed you can simply copy this panel folder to any other single engine jet panel folder of your choice. I think you will find it works well for this and other single jet aircraft.

If fully fueled this aircraft is overweight, so taxi from gate or fuel stand is recommended ... otherwise remove fuel from the tip tanks and you will be fine.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
