This is a repaint of the SimSkunkWorks Republic F84F and contains two texture sets only, one at 2048x2048 resolution and one at 4096x4096 resolution. It represent 52-6675, an F-84F-45-RE assigned to the 78th Tactical Fighter Squadron (the Bushmasters) of the 81st Tactical Fighter Wing based at RAF Woodbridge around 1958. The aircraft carries the squadron commanders chevrons and is assigned to Lt. Col. Charles Simpson who commanded the unit in 1959. The crew chief T/sgt. James P Morgan was one of nine T/Sgts assigned to the squadron at that time. '675' was transferred to the Luftwaffe in 1961 and served with JaBo 34; it was subsequently transferred to the Hellenic Air Force before being returned to the U.S. It is now part of the National Museum of the USAF collection and is on loan to the Coffeyville Aviation Heritage Museum. By Dave Quincey.
